The study is in two parts: the first - just feedback produced by the bass-clarinet with a microphone in its bell and controlled by lifting or depressing keys and the second the same process with the addition of some actual playing and processing by the max patch for my 2003 piece spectral transmission (originally for radio) conducting spectral analysis and rendering it as glissando-ing sine tones.
