This is the first test of the Tobii X2-30 Eye-tracker reading a scrolling score. The image is the gaze-plot showing all eye fixations made while the score was scrolling. The size of the circle indicate the duration of the fixation. In reading of fixed paper scores, the eye tends to remain within 4 to 6 beats of the notation that is being executed. It was expected that for the scrolling score the reader's gaze would remain very close to the "play head" (the line indicating the moment that notation is to be executed . The gaze-plot below strongly indicates that this is in fact the case. |
